Freeman Yoga
EARLY YOGIS IN THE WEST
The exposure of yoga in America began in the late 1800s and early 1900s, when yoga pioneers such as Swami Vivekananda and Paramahansa Yogananda came to bring the message of yoga and meditation to the west. Since that time, the popularity and practice of all types of yoga has increased dramatically.
