Prenatal – I
Open to all students. This class is great for anyone who is looking for a deep stretching class. Research has shown that women participating in prenatal yoga have less of nearly all pregnancy-related symptoms, including nausea, fatigue, ankle swelling, backaches, leg cramps, and depression compared to pregnant women who have not participated in the program. Prenatal classes are one hour and include warm-up, cardiovascular workout, floor work, flexibility, posture, and coordination. Self-pacing techniques are incorporated throughout so women can exercise at their own comfort and tolerance levels and in all stages of pregnancy and the postpartum period. Perfect for post partum moms as well.
